Questions parents ask us most

At this time, PACE Preparatory Academy does not participate in a free and reduced lunch program. We encourage families to plan accordingly and are happy to discuss any questions you may have during your enrollment conversation.

PACE Preparatory Academy does not currently offer interscholastic sports programs. However, we do offer after-school weight training, as well as student clubs including Dungeons & Dragons Club and Art Club, providing meaningful opportunities for connection and extracurricular engagement.

Yes, we are intentionally small — and that's one of our greatest strengths. Smaller learning communities mean every student is known by name, supported by a dedicated coach, and never lost in the crowd. Many of our families find that this environment gives their student more confidence, more attention, and better academic outcomes than a larger traditional setting.

PACE Preparatory Academy offers a different kind of high school experience — one that is focused, flexible, and personalized. While it differs from a traditional large high school, students still attend classes daily (Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM), participate in clubs, and build real relationships with peers and staff. For many students, this is exactly the environment where they finally feel at home.

We understand this concern, and we want to address it directly. 'Alternative' at PACE means an alternative approach to learning — not an alternative student. Our students come from all backgrounds and simply thrive better in a smaller, more personalized environment. PACE Preparatory Academy maintains a safe, structured campus with daily security measures and a School Safety Officer present every day.
